The D200 and 18-55 DX have gone away in order to make way for their replacement. The D700 and 24mm f2.8 have become my new tools of choice. Eventually I'ld love to get the 24mm PC-E, but we'll see.
The D700's ISO 3200 is incredible. This camera is exactly the tool that I've been waiting for... should make for some great photos.

60mm has gone back to my friend and I've bought myself the stunning Sigma 150mm f2.8 macro with 1.4x TC
All I can say about the 150mm is WOW! This is my new favorite lens! I'll post some pics soon.

I've been using a friend's 60mm f2.8 macro a LOT so I'll be posting some up-close shots...

I used the D40x for one weekend and had to return it. Why? Because I borrowed a friend's D200 and was in awe of it. I also exchanged the 18-135 lens and got the cheepie 18-55 DXII lens as well as the nice 50mm f1.8 prime.

I expect that nearly all my shots will be taken with the 50mm as I can't afford any other big glass that betters it for many months.

~ update ~

I got my D40x on July 6, '07, 3 days ago. I'm expecting do be taking many more photos than producing traditional art for the time being as I'm really enamored with this camera and lens (18-135).

that's a good way of putting it *laughs* Yeah, it was a write off, mostly due to the age. Still, we got £1700 for a car worth £600, so I could be worse off :D

Once again, this was a while ago, but much has happened and I guess I've neglected DA a bit. I got a different job, finished upholstering the seats in the MR2 as well as built a 1000W sub system for it and wired it and in place and working great, but still have to paint the box and finish the trim to get the center console of the car back in. In more randomness of grammatical nonsense, the darling drawing is litterally in the same shape as it was last seen though I'm going to try and work on it tonight and I've drawn a bunch of other little fairy ideas. Th drawings are really just sketches so I don't think that I'll colour any of them in, but we'll see.
As always, your style shines through in your work. Very nice indeed. I like pirates :-)
